Caring for you

Dr Tween specialises in the management of infertility, including assisted conception, IVF, pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) and fertility preservation. She also has a long-standing interest in the management of endometriosis and endometriosis-related infertility.

Management of infertility

In Australia, infertility is more common than you think, affecting one in six couples. If this is something you’re currently struggling with, Dr Tween can provide a wealth of practical, reassuring advice to help you navigate the path towards parenthood.

Assisted conception

If you’re having difficulties conceiving a baby naturally, Dr Tween can suggest a range of options to assist conception, including ovulation induction, artificial insemination and IVF.

Dr Tween can organise pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) and pre-implantation genetic screening (PGS) to test embryos for genetic conditions and undertake chromosomal screening, identifying the most appropriate one to transfer.

Fertility preservation

Whether it’s egg or sperm freezing you’re contemplating, Dr Tween can help with all aspects of your fertility preservation journey.

Management of recurrent miscarriages

Dealing with recurrent pregnancy loss can be stressful. Dr Tween can help you investigate the causes of recurrent miscarriages and monitor early pregnancy, providing reassurance and practical advice for what lies ahead.

Third-party reproduction

Third-party reproduction doesn’t need to be complicated. Dr Tween can help you achieve the family you dream of, whether conception is by donor sperm, donor egg or surrogacy. Plus, she can offer pragmatic family building advice for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Endometriosis management

Endometriosis is a common yet debilitating gynaecological condition. It occurs when cells lining the inside of the uterus grow on the outside. Dr Tween can help you manage endometriosis and perform excisional laparoscopic surgery, if required.

Gynaecological surgery

Although predominantly a fertility doctor, Dr Tween is a qualified gynaecologist and has limited availability to perform a range of surgeries for common gynaecological conditions, including uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, menstrual disorders and abnormal cervical screenings.
